Turnagain Hardcore News
6/13/06 - New Crew Since sledding is such a lucrative business to be in, High Life Films decided to take the opportunity to take the summer off from the film aspect of the business. We opted to go out into the real world to work construction; Ten hours a day, six days a week. Likewise, Jason Sellers, also weighted down by a full wallet following the long sledding season, opted for the real world. He went for the life of a true snow machining rock star; twelve hours a day seven days a week, in the Alaskan Bush, working construction. For those of you who don't know Jason Sellers (AKA Satan), you haven't been watching what is going on for years in the Alaska backcountry. He is definitely one of a kind, and one of the original cameramen in the snow machine free ride revolution. This year, High Life Films was lucky enough to finely work with Jason (Satan). He is a nine year veteran to the world of backcountry snow machine photography, and a long time friend, so it is about time we teamed with him professionally. Satan was introduced to sledding by Sebastian Landry and Satan introduced us to the snow machine film industry. And by the way, Satan was there for the conception of the name Turnagain Hard Core. All of us recently got some well deserved time off for the 4th of July weekend, and we got a chance to go through Jason's footage, as well as his still photos. Satan spent most of his year traveling in B.C. until coming home to AK to shot with Christoph for the fuel and fury. Since High Life Films has been to busy to put out a teaser for Turnagain Hardcore Six yet this year, we thought that we would show you Jason's stills from B.C. to tide every one over, and to officially introduce Jason as part of the THC crew. |
